Pros & Cons

  • Relevant and rewarding experience, good challenges and sense of progression, good overall work culture and highly valuable training/mentorship.
  • Working in a high pressure environment forces me to think on the feet. Also using and enhancing my technical skills.
  • The best thing about Visy is working in a very friendly and positive environment where everyone is willing to help and support you in every step.
  • There are a huge amount of opportunities available for those who take the initiative. I was able to work on major division wide projects as a result of recognising business needs and making the recommendation that we pursue the project
  • Competitive salary, decent amount of freedom depending on your role.
  • Everyone really cares about your development and wants to see you grow and succeed
  • The work team has a lean structure, which means I am holding responsible for multiple projects, tasks and systems.
  • High expectations and a pressure cooker environment
  • On call duties
  • It can be very demanding and challenging at times. It can take a while to settle in.

1. Assessment center was fantastic, I was comfortable and felt myself. It was engaging and I thought it was overall well executed. 2. Interview process was relaxed, more like a conversation which again, I think is a good approach towards a Graduate Program.
